Jack Grealish admits adapting to life at Manchester City has been so much more difficult than I thought and accepts the pressure that comes with his £100million price tag.

Attacking midfielder Grealish has yet to properly hit top form for the Premier League champions since his bumper move from Aston Villa in the last transfer window.

So far, Grealish has contributed three goals, three assists and created 44 chances for his team-mates across 20 appearances in all competitions.

The spotlight was on Grealish and team-mate Phil Foden when the duo were pictured leaving a nightclub following City s 7-0 hammering of Leeds United, with the club said to have been unhappy with their condition when they turned up for a recovery session the following day.

Pulisic ´not trying to be like´ Hazard ahead of Madrid superstar´s Chelsea reunion

Christian Pulisic says Chelsea are moving on without former talisman Eden Hazard and insists he is not trying to be like the Real Madrid winger ahead of their Champions League semi-final clash.

Hazard left Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2018-19 season as Pulisic arrived, having agreed a move from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019.

Madrid paid a club-record €100million fee to sign Hazard, who won six major honours in seven years with Chelsea, including the Premier League twice and the Europa League twice.

The Belgium international scored 110 goals and provided 81 assists in all competitions for the Premier League side but has struggled to make the same impact in Spain, dogged by injury woes.

Hazard has just four goals and five assists in 37 games in …

Rumour Has It: Barcelona prefer Dortmund´s Haaland over Messi, Raul favourite for Madrid job

Lionel Messi has spent his entire career with Barcelona.

That bond will not sway Barca s off-season plans, though.

The Spanish giants have reportedly turned their eyes to a younger option.

TOP STORY – BARCELONA PREFER HAALAND TO MESSI STAY

Barcelona are so desperate to lure Erling Haaland to Camp Nou that they would be willing to let superstar captain Lionel Messi walk away if they can sign the Borussia Dortmund star, according to The Sun.

Barca s financial situation would make it difficult to pay both players, and the report claims Messi might see his wages cut in half if he stays with the LaLiga powerhouse amid links to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

Numerous clubs are circling for Haaland, including Ci…

Brazil´s Tite won´t be sacked amid Copa America uncertainty, says interim CBF president

Interim Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) president Antonio Carlos Nunes said head coach Tite will not be sacked amid uncertainty over the Copa America.

The 2021 Copa America is scheduled to take place in Brazil, starting on Sunday, following CONMEBOL s decision to relocate the event from Argentina and Colombia, though it remains to be seen whether the Selecao will take part.

Middlesbrough are in talks with Everton about signing Yannick Bolasie on loan, according to multiple sources.

Middlesbrough interested in Everton’s Yannick Bolasie before today’s 5pm deadline. Talks continuing.

The 31-year-old winger reportedly came very close to joining Middlesbrough in 2018 and was even given a tour of the club s training ground, but the deal fell through and he ended up going to Aston Villa on loan instead. The Toffees initially signed Bolasie from Crystal Palace in 2016 in a deal worth around £25 million, but he soon suffered an ACL injury and was out of action for over a year. Ban Suarez after the World Cup, urges Zyryanov

Ex-Russia midfielder Konstantin Zyryanov says wild Luis Suarez should be banned if found guilty of biting, but only after the World Cup.

Liverpool forward Suarez hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons as Uruguay and Italy battled it out for second spot in Group D on Tuesday.

The South Americans ultimately won 1-0, but the match will not be remembered for the scoreline after Suarez appeared to bite the shoulder of Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini late in the second half.

Suarez has been in trouble before, as he bit PSV Eindhoven s Otman Bakkal in 2010 and was banned for sinking his teeth into the arm of Chelsea s Branislav Ivanovic in 2013.

If found guilty of the offence again, Zyryanov believes FIFA must suspend Suarez from the game, although he fe…

Allegri assures Juventus on ´right path´ with Champions League football almost secured

Massimiliano Allegri declared Juventus are on the right path after a difficult season as they edge closer to securing Champions League qualification.

Juve are eight points clear of fifth-placed Roma with four games left to play in Serie A as the Bianconeri prepare to host Venezia on Sunday.

Coach Allegri returned to Turin for the 2021-22 season and endured a difficult start to the campaign, but recovered with a 16-game unbeaten league run that ended in a 1-0 defeat to Inter earlier in April.

That undefeated streak somewhat eased the pressure on Allegri and Juve, who crashed out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage following a dismal second-leg performance against Villarreal.

Juve president Andrea Agnelli expressed his support on Thursday for the…

Marseille´s Garcia dismisses Strootman reunion rumours

Marseille head coach Rudi Garcia has quashed speculation linking him with a move for Kevin Strootman and insists the club hope to keep hold of Lassana Diarra.

Strootman played under Garcia at Roma from 2013 until the coach s departure in January, a period in which the Netherlands international struggled with a long-running knee injury.

Garcia, who guided Lille to the Ligue 1 title in 2010-11, remains an admirer of the 26-year-old, but dismissed any chance of the midfielder following him to Stade Velodrome.

Strootman is a fantastic man beyond being a fantastic player, of course I would welcome him with open arms, but he will stay in Rome, he told Telefoot.

Marseille are also rumoured to be facing a battle to keep former Arsenal and Real Madrid midfiel…
