We knew things could get a little tight last week and Minnesota (safe) and Baltimore (savvy) caused a few grey hairs and a possible bout of IBS when it was all said and done. And for that, I apologize.

After losing in the Wild Card Round to the 49ers, Mike McCarthy looks to make good on a promising young Dallas Cowboys roster in his third season as head coach. 

Opposing tonight will be the Denver Broncos, who are looking to follow the last two Super Bowl winners by taking a promising, underperforming roster and catapulting it with a big-splash move at quarterback.

Betting on the NFL Draft is a practice of sorting through information (and misinformation) and then making educated guesses by identifying team needs. But if you are able to do that, there is some value to be found in these betting markets.

South Africa will host the 2013 African Cup of Nations, as previous hosts Libya had to rescind the rights due to political instability.

The two countries football associations have signed an agreement with regards to the hosting of the 2013 and the 2017 editions of the continent’s prime football competition, with Libya to inherit the rights to the latter event.

In terms of the agreement, Libya will host the 2017 Afcon, which had been awarded to South Africa, while Safa will take over the hosting of the 2013 Afcon tournament as well as the 2014 African Nations Championships (Chan), which was supposed to be played in Libya, a South African Football Association statement read.
