Once the most exciting prospects in English football, the 24-year-old Arsenal midfield Jack Wilshere is in a moment that could be a defining one to his entire professional career.

Plagued by injuries and beleaguered by the impetuous pressure from the stands, Wilshere could be on the move out of Arsenal as Arsene Wenger is keen to help the midfielder revive his career.

Loan Out

Just 48 hours before the transfer window closes, Premier League side Arsenal have made it clear that their prized asset Jack Wilshere will be available for a loan in order to get first-team football and get his career back on track.

The England midfielder has struggled to cement a first-team place with both club and country over the past few season due to persistent injuries.

Having been kept sidelined in a succession of problems that prevented him from living up to his billing as one of the most exciting talents in English football, Jack Wilshere is currently at a career-defining moment.

Well aware of the current situation, t is believed that Jack Wilshere was the one who insisted on being allowed to leave after a talk with Arsene Wenger who was presented with Wilshere’s concerns over future role.

Gunners have brought Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach during summer and appear to be well-equipped in the midfield line with the likes of Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin also competing for the spot in the team.

Arsene Wenger wanted to reassure both Wilshere and Arsenal fans by stating that the 24-year-old still is central to his long-term plans, but that will consider loaning him out although the England international will not be allowed to move to a top four rival.

Loan Again

Should Jack Wilshere secure a loan in the remaining 48 hours of the summer transfer window it will not be the first time he has left Arsenal to build up his form.

The 24-year-old midfielder was already loaned out to Bolton Wanderers in January 2010 when it was agreed that the English talent will stay for the remainder of the ongoing campaign.  Despite the fact he only played 14 ligue matches and scored one goal, Jack Wilshere was hugely impressive during his stay with the Wanderers.

Owen Coyle was at the time so impressed with the 18-year-old Arsenal talent that he attempted to extend Wilshere’s learning curve at the Reebok Stadium for another six months.

Bolton manager at the time reported about Wilshere’s commitment to Arsenal and desire to succeed with the Gunners, the kind of commitment and desire that remain unchanged to this day.

Incredible Injury List

Wilshere’s determination, talent, quality and will to succeed stood no chance in fight against injuries.

Since his return from Bolton Wanderers in 2010 and his promotion to Arsenal’s first-team, Jack Wilshere had no less than 12 injury problems. Malleolar injury was the most frequent one, while the England midfielder also struggled with ankle, calfbone, foot and most recently knee injury.

Jack Wilshere has played just 37 minutes this term while his last 90 minutes in an Arsenal shirt came in Gunners’ 2-1 home defeat to Southampton in the Capital One Cup all the way back in September 2014.

To put the extent of his injuries in a different perspective, since the 2009-10 season Jack WIlshere missed the total of 154 matches for Arsenal.

Injury-laden world-class potential such as Jack Wilshere was unable to live up to the expectations due to the fact that he spent the total of 901 days watching his team from the sidelines.

As Arsenal move forth eager to make their presence known in the Premier League title race they are given , Jack Wilshere is ready to make his own presence and find the place under the limelight again.

Sam Allardyce’s decision to leave the 24-year-old out of his first England squad this week had most certainly influenced Wilshere’s decision to speak with Wenger about a loan out of the club.
